 A brand new league of cricket is going to take place next year in South Africa, the event will be organized by Cricket South Africa with Former Protea Captain Graeme Smith will be the head of this new tournament as announced by CSA. The event will commence from 6th of January to 20th February, this 6 week tournament comprises of 6 Franchise which are owned by the owners of IPL Franchises respectively.                

                                                                              With more than 530 players registering for the tournament out of 534 players 318 are ready to go under hammer on 19th September in auction which is going to be held in Cape Town. In Pre-Auction 5 players are allowed by CSA to be signed up by each franchise with 1 marquee South African and 1 Local Uncapped South African and not more than 3 players from 1 nation.

1) RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LIMITED - Owner Of Mumbai Indians in IPL bought Cape Town franchise and named this franchise as MICAPETOWN.

Players Signed in Pre-Auction - Liam Livingstone, Rashid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Sam Curran and Dewald Brevis. 

3 Targeted Players - Jimmy Neesham(All-Rounder), Marco Jansen(Bowler) and Phil Salt(Batsman).

2) CHENNAI SUPER KINGS PRIVATE LIMITED - Owner of Chennai Super Kings bought Johannesburg franchise and named it as JOHANNESBURG SUPER KINGS.

Players Signed in Pre-Auction - Faf Duplesis, Maheesh Theekshana, Romario Shepherd and Gerald Coetzee.

3 Targeted Players - Dwaine Pretorius(All-Rounder), Josh Little(Bowler) and Tristan Stubbs(Batsman).

3) RPSG SPORTS - Owner of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL bought Durban franchise and named it as DURBAN SUPER GIANTS. 

Players Signed in Pre-Auction - Quinton De Kock, Kyle Mayers, Jason Holder, Reece Topley and Prenelan Subrayen.

3 Targeted Players - Pathum Nissanka(Batsman), Tabraiz Shamsi(Bowler) and Alzarri Joseph(Bowler).

4) ROYALS SPORTS GROUP - Owner of Rajasthan Royals in IPL owned Paarl franchise and named PAARLS ROYALS. 

Players Signed in Pre-Auction - Jos Buttler, David Miller, Obed MccoY and Corbin Bosch(Batsman). 

3 Targeted Players- Rassie Vander Dussen(Batsman), Odean Smith(All-Rounder) and Lungi Ngidi(Bowler).

5) SUN TV - Owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad owned Port Elizabet franchise and named it as SUNRISERS EASTERN CAPE.

6) JSW GROUP - Owner of Delhi Capitals owned Pretoria franchise and named it as PRETORIA CAPITALS.

3 Targeted Players - Eoin Morgan(Batsman), Jason Roy(Batsman) and Andile Phehlukwayo(All-Rounder).
