In Today's blog I'm going to make "The Team of The Tournament" till now. Almost half of the tournament is over, Now it is important to make team based on the performances of the players till the first half.
TEAM OF THE TOURNAMENT (FIRST HALF) :
1) DEVON CONWAY (CSK) - Mr. Consistent Devon Conway has smashed 4 consecutive fifties and averages 52 and he is the second highest scorer of the tournament till now after RCB skipper Faf Duplesis with 314 runs in 7 innings. He is the obvious choice for opener.
2) FAF DUPLESIS (RCB) - Another player who is at his best specially in this season, he single handedly scoring runs for his side and he has scored 3 consecutive fifties with highest score of 84. He is the leading run scorer of this tournament with 405 runs in 7 matches. Going with Faf Duplesis will make my combination left and right and it is a good move.
3) AJINKYA RAHANE (CSK) - Ajinkya Rahane 2.0 has arrived in IPL 2023 we have seen old Rahane till now, his performance earned his place in squad for World Test Championship Final. He is in amazing form and he should be my Number 3.
4) SHIVAM DUBE (CSK) - Another player from CSK Shivam Dube has turned his fortunes too, this year is proving to be Shivam Dube's year, his hard hitting abilities and striking power making him special this year. He scored 184 runs including 15 sixes.
5) GLENN MAXWELL (RCB) - After many seasons finally Glenn Maxwell is in red hot form in this season, he scored 253 runs with an average of 42 and hitted 23 sixes second best after his skipper faf duplesis. Maxwell is a must choice based on his performance.
6) RINKU SINGH (KKR) - Every IPL Fan and specially KKR Fan will remember that 5 sixes in a row of Rinku Singh against Gujarat Titans for a long time, he single handedly played a brilliant knock and he is too in a good form this IPL.
7) AXAR PATEL (DC) - In this season there is nothing much positive for Delhi Capitals with 5 losses in 7 matches they are placed at the bottom of the table. But their key player Axar Patel has showed what he is capable of and what he can do for his side if given regular chances. He is the highest run scorer for Delhi in this season and he is showing his all-round performance.
8) RASHID KHAN (GT) - If you are building a T20 team you can't keep Rashid Khan out he is a T20 genius, he is currently the leading wicket taker in IPL with 14 wickets in 7 matches. He is must pick for your T20 side.
9) MOHAMMED SIRAJ (RCB) - Siraj's performance in IPL history is not upto his level but this season he showed everyone his quality and class, he showed what he can do and now he is the second highest wicket taker of this season with 13 wickets in 7 matches.
10) MOHAMMED SHAMI (GT) - Shami is a multi dimensional player who can bowl and swing the new ball and can bowl at the deaths, that is the reason he is in my team. He has taken 10 wickets in 7 matches and it is sure he will take many more in upcoming matches.
11) ARSHDEEP SINGH (PBKS) - No one can forget that 2 consecutive balls of Arshdeep against Tilak Verma and Nehal Wadhera in which stumps got broken, he is an amazing death over bowler he should be in IPL team of the tournament.
